We are Pete and Shelia Montrondand we have three beautiful children.   We live in Williamburg, Virginia.  Pete and I first fell in love with Leonbergers in Germany.   I was a member of a Deutsche Schaferhunde Vereine in Gerbrunnand one of the former members had a Leo.  I fell in love with their dog on sight.  We became friends and they educated us about the breed and temperament.   Since then, we have read all we could and now have two wonderful Leos Abby and Amadie. In addition, we have a wonderful German Shepherd named Caja.   All our dogs have very sweet temperaments, which is most important for us.   Leonbergers have some of the sweetest temperaments in the world, when bred correctly and socialized.   We encourage all to only buy from ethical breeders who guarantee to be there for the life and health of the puppy.
